Richard Blankenship is an American independent researcher, speaker and podcaster who is known as an expositor and populariser of Tetryonics, the charged-geometry theory of mass, energy and matter originated by the Australian engineer Kelvin C. Abraham. Blankenship is not the originator of Tetryonics and does not claim to be; he presents himself, and is described by the organisations he works with, as an expert in and teacher of Abraham's theory, and as the person who extends its interpretation into questions of mind and consciousness. He has presented on Tetryonics at the ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference run by Tesla Tech.

Biography

Little of Blankenship's personal background has been published. He is the founder of Luminal Mind, under which he hosts the Luminal Mind YouTube channel and the Pneuma of Now podcast, and under which he publishes what he calls his "Sapieadelic Studies" — an attempt to describe the universe of the "luminal mind" in terms of Tetryonic theory. He describes himself as a lifelong spiritual seeker and experiencer of altered states of awareness, and as an autodidact and pattern-thinker rather than an institutionally trained physicist.

Blankenship serves as Secretary of Metaontology.Org, a non-profit organisation whose stated aim is "exploring and defining the fundamental nature of reality" and which is built around Abraham's work; Abraham is listed as its president and headmaster, and Blankenship is listed on its staff page as "Founder of Luminal Mind, Expert in Tetryonics."

No published source establishes his date or place of birth, his education, or an academic or industrial employer, and none is asserted here.

Role in Tetryonics

The distinction matters for reading Blankenship's work. Tetryonics was developed and published from 2008 onward by Kelvin C. Abraham, who holds the copyright in the theory and whose book Principia Geometrica is its primary statement. Blankenship's contribution is one of exposition, teaching and extension rather than origination: he gives introductory presentations on the theory to audiences outside its immediate circle, produces video and podcast material explaining it, and develops its application to consciousness and to energy technology. Where the theory's claims are described below, they are the claims of Abraham and of Tetryonics' proponents, Blankenship among them.

Tetryonics as its proponents describe it

Tetryonics is offered by its proponents as a unified geometric theory of "[Space-Time-CHARGE]" and "[mass-ENERGY-Matter]." Its starting point is a re-reading of what a squared quantity means in physics: proponents argue that squared numbers in physical law should be understood geometrically, and specifically that the quantised angular momentum associated with Planck's constant reflects an underlying quantised equilateral triangular geometry rather than a vector rotation about a point, as conventional quantum mechanics assumes.

From that premise the theory builds everything else out of charged equilateral geometry. Charge, on this account, is not a scalar label attached to a point particle but a property of the geometry itself, with the orientation of the triangular quanta giving positive and negative charge. Assemblies of these charged triangles — tetrahedral groupings, from which the name tetryon derives — are held to constitute the matter particles of the standard model, while the physical constants of electrical permittivity and magnetic permeability, and the relationships between inertial mass, energy and momentum, are presented as consequences of the same quantised geometry operating at every scale. Proponents claim on this basis to resolve a number of quantum "mysteries" by geometric construction rather than by probabilistic formalism, and to unify the forces within a single framework.

Tetryonics is not accepted within mainstream physics and has been developed and circulated outside the peer-reviewed literature and the conventional academic system, chiefly through Abraham's self-published volumes, online archives and the independent-research conference circuit — which is the setting in which Blankenship's own presentations belong.

Tetryonics and consciousness

Blankenship's distinctive emphasis is on bridging the physical and the spiritual. His Luminal Mind material applies the Tetryonic picture of charged geometry to questions of mind, awareness and altered states, treating consciousness as continuous with the geometry the theory posits rather than as an emergent afterthought. This line of work is his own extension of the theory and is not part of Abraham's original physical exposition.

TeslaTech

Blankenship has appeared at the ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference, the annual meeting organised by Tesla Tech and its founder Steven R Elswick, which brings together independent inventors and researchers working on Tesla-related and unconventional energy technologies. Both of his known appearances were given in the conference's evening plenary sessions, and recordings of both were issued by TeslaTech in its conference video catalogue.

  • "Tetryonic Path to Tesla Energy" — 2023 ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference, Session 7 (Evening), Friday 11 August 2023, Crowne Plaza, Albuquerque, New Mexico (TeslaTech catalogue no. ET2315). The talk connects Tetryonic geometry to Nikola Tesla's approach to energy.
  • "Introduction to Tetryonics" — 2016 ExtraOrdinary Technology Conference, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 27–31 July 2016 (TeslaTech catalogue no. ET1616). Blankenship is listed among the featured speakers on the cover of the 2016 conference program.
