Tim Zebo (Timothy J. Zebo) is an American electrical engineer and independent consultant based in Red Bank, New Jersey. He spent much of his career as a member of the technical staff at Bell Labs, where he was awarded five patents, and he later worked as an independent consultant. He is also known as a founding member of the Red Bank Humanists.
Biography
Zebo holds a doctorate in electrical engineering. He was for many years a member of the technical staff at Bell Labs, receiving five patents over the course of his career, before becoming an independent consultant. He resides in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Zebo was one of the original incorporators of Red Bank Humanists, Inc., a non-profit corporation formed in the state of New Jersey in 2004. He was elected to its first board of directors and subsequently served as the organization's Vice President and Secretary, promoting critical thinking, social justice, and secular humanist values.
Work
Zebo's professional and research interests span electrical and electronic engineering, including work related to Robots, Lightwave Propagation, and Entanglement. He is affiliated with the IEEE and the NY Academy of Science.
