As a documentary filmmaker, Stein directed Travis: The True Story of Travis Walton (2015), an account of the 1975 UFO abduction case reported by Travis Walton in Arizona's Sitgreaves National Forest. Her other film work includes MUFON Insider and Alien Abduction: A True Story.
