Fundamental Questions in Quantum Physics and Relativity: Collected Papers in Honor of Louis de Broglie is a 1993 volume edited by Franco Selleri, published by Hadronic Press. It is a Festschrift honouring the French physicist Louis de Broglie.

Overview

The collection gathers papers on open problems in the foundations of quantum mechanics and relativity, in the spirit of de Broglie's realist, causal approach to quantum theory (his "double solution" and pilot-wave ideas). Topics include wave–particle duality, the interpretation of the wave function, hidden-variable and neo-Lorentzian approaches, and critiques of the orthodox interpretation of quantum mechanics.

About the editor

Franco Selleri (1936–2013) was an Italian theoretical physicist and professor at the University of Bari, a leading figure in the foundations-of-physics community and a defender of realist interpretations of quantum theory and neo-Lorentzian views of relativity. See also his Wave-Particle Duality.
