Abstract

The paper considers the application of the Eotvos correction to the random thermal motion of gas molecules. The results show that the weight of all gases must exhibit a dependence on temperature of the order of 10-5 per degree.  The result is verified by ananlyzing the free fall of neutrons and by experiments directly weighing a constant amount of gas at different temperatures.
