Eric Laithwaite Report is a 2008 compilation edited by Thomas F Valone and published by the Integrity Research Institute, documenting the work of the engineer Eric R Laithwaite. It includes patents, journal papers, and other material, and notes Laithwaite's appearances on BBC television and his consulting for NASA on magnetic levitation.

Overview

The report gathers Laithwaite's contributions on linear induction motors, magnetic levitation, and — most controversially — gyroscopic ("reactionless") propulsion. It presents his experiments and claims regarding anomalous behaviour of spinning gyroscopes, a topic he pursued after being approached by amateur inventor Alex Jones, alongside his mainstream engineering achievements.

About the people

Eric Roberts Laithwaite (1921–1997) was an English electrical engineer at Imperial College London, known as the "father of Maglev" for developing the linear induction motor and maglev concepts; late in his career he became known for controversial claims about gyroscopes. Dr. Thomas F. Valone is a physicist and engineer, president of the Integrity Research Institute and editor of its Future Energy publications.
