Licht aus den Atomen ("Light from the Atoms") is a 1984 German-language book by Gotthard Barth, published through his Wissen im Werden imprint.

Overview

The book presents Barth's "rational physics" account of the nature and emission of light — how light arises from atoms — as an alternative to the quantum and relativistic treatments he rejected. It is one of the later works in his long campaign for a classical, common-sense physics.

About the author

Gotthard Barth (1900–1985) was an Austrian private scholar and critic of relativity and classical thermodynamics, founder of the journal Wissen im Werden and of the "Society for Rational Physics and Natural Philosophy." See also his Antirelativus and Rationale Physik.
