Carbon Dating, Cold Fusion, and a Curve Ball is a 2004 book by David D Moon, published by Trafford.
Overview
Moon proposes that extensive element transmutations have taken place within the Earth — driven, in his account, by intense hydrodynamic processes during the biblical Flood of Noah — and that these would have altered the isotopic ratios on which radiometric dating depends, rendering standard radioactive dates unreliable. He connects this to his interest in cold fusion (low-energy nuclear reactions) and outlines a simple proposed test of his hypothesis using bismuth, water, and an outboard motor.
About the author
David D. Moon earned a B.S. in science education from Mankato State College in 1972 and taught high-school physical science in several U.S. states. Since 1989 he has worked on cold-fusion theory, with numerous publications, and is the inventor of a proposed cold-fusion device he calls the "Nucleovoltaic Cell."
