Dennis McCarthy has published papers on a wide variety of subjects, including geophysics, biogeography, and English literature. He is currently a research associate at the Buffalo Museum of Science and is on the editorial board of Biogeography & Systematics, a journal that will be launched by the Systematic & Evolutionary Biogeographical Association (SEBA) in late 2008.
Dennis has managed to publish papers advocating Earth expansion in peer reviewed journals for the last five years. His focus is mostly biogeographical -- showing biotic links across the Pacific requiring a smaller (not larger) Mesozoic Pacific Ocean basin. He has also recently published a paper in the Journal of Geophysical Research that became the first to explain the lopsided continent-ocean distribution of the globe (i.e., why the Southern Hemisphere is much more oceanic.) This explanation is linked to expanding Earth theory though he did not explicitly state that in the paper. Ultimately, Dennis is interested in confirming an ether-sink view of gravity, which naturally explains the expansion of some astronomical bodies.
