I graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Isny (Germany) in 2008 earning a diploma in physical engineering. My diploma thesis was related to a neuroimaging technique (near-infrared imaging, NIRI) which allows the non-invasive measurement of hemodynamic/metabolic parameters of the human brain. My main research areas are: biomedical signal processing, biomedical optics/engineering and biophysics, as well as condensed matter nuclear science and theoretical physics. I am a member of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft (DPG, German Physical Society), International Society For Condensed Matter Nuclear Science and International Society for Bioelectromagnetism.
