Harry E. Mongold retired from civil service, pursuing interests in science and literature.  In addition to several articles critical of Einstein's theory of special relativity, Mongold wrote two unpublished sequels to L. Frank Baum's Oz book series, and was active with the Wizard of Oz Club.
