Consistent with his earlier work, he advances a neo-Lorentzian interpretation in which a cosmologically-determined fundamental reference frame underlies the appearances of special relativity. About the author

Simon Jacques Prokhovnik (1920–2002) was an Australian mathematician (associate professor at the University of New South Wales) known for his work on the logic and interpretation of special relativity and for developing a Lorentzian, aether-frame reading of relativity compatible with modern cosmology.
