Abstract

This thesis proved that there is the crossed Doppler Effect of light in Newton's space-time concepts. The expression for Doppler effect of light is reestablished in the ether space by using the law of conservation of momentum and the Plank relation, which contain the crossed Doppler Effect. It is necessary for us to reconsider the Larmor-Lorentz time dilation hypothesis that the moving clocks relative to the ether run slow.
