Time: Fields, Relativity & Systems is a 2006 book by the control-systems scientist Lyubomir T Gruyitch, published by Llumina Press. It presents, in the same vein as his Time and Time Fields, his critical theory of time and its relativity.

Overview

Gruyitch sets out a theory of the properties and physical meaning of time and of its relativity, introducing new physical principles and the notion of "time fields" and linking them to systems with multiple time scales. He argues that the basis of Einsteinian relativity is in general invalid, and offers the fundamentals of alternative ("consistent") relativity theories. He later developed these ideas further in Time and Consistent Relativity (Routledge, 2015).

About the author

Lyubomir T. Gruyitch is a Serbian-born engineer and professor of control systems who has written extensively on dynamical systems, control theory, and the nature and relativity of time. See also his Einstein's Relativity Theory: Correct, Paradoxical, and Wrong.
