Apeiron: Studies in Infinite Nature was a Canadian scientific journal (and book publisher) founded in 1987 and edited by C. Roy Keys in Montreal. A quarterly international publication, it published theoretical and experimental work across physics but was especially noted as a forum for alternative theories of cosmology, relativity, and quantum mechanics, and for "dissident" researchers whose work was rejected by mainstream journals.
History and scope
Apeiron issued freely available online articles and a series of books (the imprint C. Roy Keys Inc. / Apeiron published works by authors such as Andre K T Assis, Joseph Levy, and Ludwig Kostro). Keys encouraged papers written to be readable by non-specialists. The journal ceased publication around 2013, but its archive remains a significant record of late-twentieth-century dissident physics.
