Abstract

The aim of this work is to discuss how the principle of relativity must be interpreted within inertial refer-ence frames in order to be applied rightly by non-inertial observers.  It is shown that when an accelerated ob-server assumes that two or more inertial frames are at rest consecutively, some incoherencies arise, such as clock and Ehrenfest?s paradoxes.  These paradoxes are solved and the inconsistency of the postulates of the so-called special relativity theory, which is an inappropriate interpretation of the relativity principle, is concluded.
